K&H GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

applicable to payment by bank card

The provisions of the present General Terms and Conditions (hereafter referred to as the GTC) shall apply to payment by bank card made between the Congress & Hobby Service Ltd. (hereafter referred to as the Service Provider) and its clients, whether natural persons or business organisations (hereafter referred to jointly and severally as the Client).

For events organized by the Service Provider, participation fees, hotel fees and meal prices are published on the website of the respective event and in the notice.

The Service Provider shall require advance registration for use of its event planning and related services as well as for payment by bank card, whereupon said Service Provider shall send written confirmation of said registration to the Client.

In registering, the Client may select mode of payment to be used when paying by bank card, for which the required hyperlink shall be sent within the written confirmation and the GTC can be downloaded under the Downloads menu item on the website for the relevant event.

Our Customers at the K & H Bank's payment server are required to provide the card number, expiration date and three-digit security code. K & H Bank accepts VISA, VISA Electron, V-Pay, MasterCard, Maestro and JCB cards.

Bank cards issued exclusively for electronic use can only be accepted if their use is authorized by the card issuing bank! Please check with your bank for your card to be used for online shopping.

After successful purchase, K & H Bank issues a license number for the transaction, which should be printed or printed on the whole page. In case of an unsuccessful transaction, K & H Bank will report the cause of the error in an error message.

On receipt of payment, the Service Provider shall issue an invoice and e-mail a copy thereof to the Client.

The Service Provider declares that he shall undertake to ensure secrecy and confidentiality in completing the transactions described above.

The protection of your personal data is a priority for Congress & Hobby Service Ltd. The collection and processing of personal data required during the use of our website complies with the applicable Hungarian data protection regulations (Act CXII of 2011).

Your data will be handled confidentially and will not be forwarded to third parties, unless this is indispensable for the performance of the contract (eg mail, courier service). Our employees, partners and service providers are subject to a confidentiality obligation.

Charges

The prices shown on the Service Provider's website do not include the transaction / handling fee, which is EUR 7 for every begun EUR 400 in case of credit card payment (for example 0-400: 7 euro, 401-800: 14 euro, etc.).

Performance

The date of performance shall be the date on which the services ordered by the Client on registering are provided or the last date of the particular event. The Service Provider shall be under obligation to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions laid down in the bulletin for the particular event.

Withdrawal {45/2014. (II.26) Government Decree}

A card holder can withdraw from the purchase without explanation within three (3) days and no later than the deadline laid down in the terms of cancellation published in the congress bulletin. If a card holder should wish to exercise his right of withdrawal, the Client can do so in writing by e-mail to info@congress-service.hu. The Client shall be advised that he shall bear all costs (transaction and invoicing charges) incurred due to his withdrawal. If the Client cancels his order for services beyond the deadline published in the congress bulletin and made available on the website, then the Service Provider shall be under no obligation to repay.

Complaints, Course of legal remedy

If a complaint should arise in the course of the purchase, we ask that you lodge said complaint by e-mail at info@congress-service.hu or by telephone on +(36-62) 484-531 or +(36-62) 484-532. Each and every complaint shall be reviewed by the Service Provider and a response shall be provided by same within eight (8) days after the complaint has been received.

Any matters not covered by the present contract shall be governed by the relevant provisions of the Civil Code in force in Hungary. The Contracting Parties declare that they shall cooperate with one another and supply one another the required information in fulfilment of the contract and that they shall defer to the exclusive competence of the Szeged Municipal Court on any disputed matters.

Damages

The Service Provider shall only assume liability for damages suffered by the Client due to inadequate performance of services provided by said Service Provider or due to failure to provide said services. The maximum sum of the damages to be repaid for the services to which the Client objects shall be the price published by the Service Provider or the actual amount of said price already paid by the Client.

Effect and publication of the General Terms and Conditions

The present GTC shall enter into force on 1 June 2017 and shall remain in force until revoked or until potential amendments enter into force.
